Car Dealers excited as Car Sales show Positive signs of return

The biggest car show of the United States, the leader of all – “North American International Auto Show (NAIS)” – The Detroit motor show 2010 is back this year with a very different spark as compared to the past few years which showed no signs of excitement due to recession leading to low car sales. But this year the scenario was very different. All the car dealers were seen celebrating as they have all returned to good form. Customer confidence is back as the nation’s economy is going up again. The entire show had a magic in air with stylish women posing with their uneasy shoes in the vast display stands.

But your sight would immediately shift to the perfect car models on display at the stands. There were many models on display. We first caught a glimpse of the 2012 Volkswagen Passat on display. Also, we were content after looking at the futuristic Porshe. The one on display was the 918 RSR Hybrid Racer which has two electric motors on the front of each wheel. Now that electric car would be really POWERFUL.

The others on the similar electric segment were the Toyota Hybrid minivan which Toyota launches after the world- leading success of its Toyota Hybrid. Ford was also not left behind as it announced plans to launch three new electric vehicles and employ 7000 US workers in the next two years. Electric vehicles are expected to make up to 10% of the total sales by 2020.
In total, car sales seem to be going strong with sales increasing to up to 11% in the US in the year 2010. By 2014, the sales are expected to reach a little above 90 million as compared to the figure of 60 million back in 2003.
